About the Founders
James is a quality practitioner, with extensive experience in leadership globally, within the oil and gas industry. He has had the benefit of implementing the use of effective systems internally across an international organisation and also managing and developing audit teams to deliver a service to customers, bringing a fundamental understanding and capability to our business.
He has a very keen sense of the rigours and stresses that businesses face having held director positions in both operational and training management roles. This understanding is always placed at the forefront when engaging with customers as we seek to add value and provide positive change for businesses. His effective base of practical knowledge and abilities are supplemented with Masters Degrees from Aberdeen University and Aberdeen Business School. He is also a qualified lead auditor and has led hundreds of external audits against a wide range of criteria and standards.
Shaun has spent nearly twenty years working in the oil and gas industry. During this time, he has managed and delivered quality services to a range of business types from small independent training organisations to large multinational operators.
Shaun holds a leading insight into the process to achieve and maintain OPITO approval, and also the challenges involved with maintaining an ISO certification. He has developed world class audit teams and has functioned in the role of lead auditor for both internal and external audits globally. He is a qualified lead auditor, assessor, verifier and also holds IOSH qualifications.
